About the Role
Holt Engineering is seeking a skilled and organised Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at one of their distribution centres in Ferndown. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse workflows, sardar article shipping, logistics, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse staff and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Monitor team performance and ensure KPIs are met
- Loading and unloading goods
- Picking and packing orders for distribution
- Recording stock levels and inventory using warehouse management systems
- Operating forklifts safely and effectively
- Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- PC literate with experience in data entry and stock management
- Ability to follow instructions for picking and packing accurately
