Role Overview
Vanta Staffing Reading is currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established and respected company based in the Reading area. This role offers consistent hours and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring goods are handled efficiently, safely, sardar article and accurately.
Key Duties
- Pick and prepare orders ready for delivery
- Load and unload vehicles in a safe and organised manner
- Carry out manual handling tasks, lifting items between 15kg and 20kg
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 17:00
- Friday: 07:00 – 16:30
Candidate Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Willingness to work as part of a team
