Our diverse product range covers toys, fashion, homeware, beauty, and accessories, sardar article sold through major online marketplaces and our own e-commerce platform.
The Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially focused Amazon Category Manager to take complete ownership of a key category on the Amazon marketplace. This role is not limited to marketing or advertising — you will be responsible for end-to-end category performance, including revenue growth, profitability, pricing, inventory, fulfilment, and customer experience.
You will manage a complex portfolio of approximately 3,000 SKUs, lead a multi-disciplinary team, and define the long-term strategy to ensure sustainable growth and strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Financial Ownership
- Take full P&L responsibility for your assigned Amazon category
- Build and execute category strategies covering pricing, promotions, assortment, and growth
- Analyse customer behaviour, market trends, and competitor activity
- Track KPIs and continuously optimise performance through data-led decisions
Leadership & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Lead teams across PPC, content, demand planning, commercial strategy, and troubleshooting
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and develop team capability
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution
Marketing, PPC & Content Oversight
- Oversee Amazon advertising strategy and guide PPC specialists to maximise ROAS
- Approve and enhance product listings, SEO, and A+ Content across all SKUs
- Plan promotional campaigns to boost visibility and category sales
Inventory & Operational Management
- Ensure strong stock availability while minimising overstock and stock-outs
- Resolve operational issues including returns, customer feedback, and compliance
- Introduce scalable processes to support long-term category growth
Reporting & Insights
- Analyse sales, advertising, and operational data to identify opportunities
- Prepare detailed performance reports for senior leadership
- Refine strategy based on insights and evolving marketplace trends
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in e-commerce or category management, ideally on Amazon
- Strong understanding of PPC, SEO, and marketplace optimisation
- Experience managing large SKU ranges (1,000+; this role covers ~3,000)
- Advanced analytical skills with Excel, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Commercial mindset with proven P&L ownership
