Role Overview
NHS Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Surgical Pharmacist / Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join a dynamic surgical pharmacy team in Middlesbrough. You will play a key role in supporting surgical teams, ensuring safe sardar article and effective use of medicines, and delivering high-quality patient-focused pharmaceutical care.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services to surgical patients
- Support medicines optimisation and safe prescribing practices
- Work closely with multidisciplinary surgical teams
- Participate in clinical decision-making and patient care planning
- Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with national and local medicines management guidelines
Skills & Experience
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Experience in hospital or surgical clinical pharmacy
- Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
