Job Overview
Booker Group is currently seeking a dedicated and organised Warehouse Clerk to join its warehouse operations team in Fareham. This role plays sardar article a key part in ensuring that warehouse administration and daily operational processes run efficiently and accurately.
As a Warehouse Clerk, you will work closely with Senior Operations Clerks and Team Managers, providing essential administrative support while also assisting the warehouse team when operational demands require it.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing administrative tasks to support smooth warehouse operations
- Monitoring pick and replenishment systems across Ambient, Tobacco, and Frozen departments
- Investigating back picks, suspended picks, and replenishment issues
- Handling Proof of Delivery and driver documentation
- Processing goods receipt paperwork accurately
- Releasing orders for checking and verification
- Communicating important updates to warehouse operatives
- Liaising with goods-in checkers and supply chain teams
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks when required
- Issuing documentation and paperwork as needed
- Participating in company training programs
- Supporting health and safety standards at all times
Skills & Requirements
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Good computer and organisational abilities
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to work
- Previous warehouse or chamber experience is beneficial but not essential
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety procedures
